hey everyone, i will be picking up a 97 SHO on Monday and bringing it to my School in St. Cloud immediately to have the cams welded. in January it will be headed back to my school to have the tranny fixed/rebuilt. i am not new to the Taurus or sable at all but this will be my first SHO. I have seen Wuzzer's car before (same year and color as the one i am buying) and i have seen a blue gen 2 with thunderbird rims.

any of you that are in st cloud may have seen my sable before i am there quite often for school

Welcome! Im jealous of you I really want a gen III. Tyler lives in St. Cloud but he no longer owns a sho but we still like him lol. Hit him up with a pm. You just missed our last meet, but post pics of your new SHO when you get it. Look me "Matt Crabby Vnuk" up on facebook and I will add you to our group..

thanks everyone! still finding info it is kind of difficult because there is so much info here it is almost too much lol

i think i found good info on cam welding but i am wondering what i may be looking at cost wise for a trans rebuild (cost of parts plus 27% if i have it done at school and i get a 1 year 12k mile warranty)

Welcome again! No idea about tranny rebuild cost except I'm sure not cheap. I'd think your plan would prob be much cheaper than a reg. tranny shop cost would be.
