Aha! I didn't realize that the "SHO" text would replace the shift pattern graphic; I figured it'd just go over or under it, like the "South Bend Clutch" text.

And now the "SHO" text option is gone from the order page... What happened?

Regards,
Jon Heese

Whatever, Greensboro just got hit with a massive snowstorm like two weeks ago. 6 whole inches. Either way it does still get cold here so...definitely bring gloves.

The SHO replacing the other markers would probably be weird at first but I'm guessing we all usually don't look at the shift **** when putting the car into gear anyway so...it would just take a little getting used to.

Yeah, but I was hoping that it had the "Jesus Gear" AND "SHO" lettering. Oh well. I'll just go with the 1-2-J-4-5 **** later.

my stock one is wore down evenly enough (found it in a mustang in a junkyard to replace the one that came with the car that was all ripped up) that it didn't even have the shift pattern on it. i've been driving stick shifts long enough to know where the gates are and as long as i'm not in a 6speed, my aunts F250, a volkswagen or audi the reverse is under 5th. mustang was like this, CRX was like this, 240sx was like this, my 5sp F150 etc.

the SHO **** looks cool. but not as cool as having the jesus gear with SHO text in front or behind it on the ****.

The SHO logo **** is still available. We made a mistake on our website and it we temporarily took it down to correct the mistake. It will be back shortly.

If you guy's want the pattern with the SHO logo also, we will look into it. To develop one more design we need to see more potential sales to make it worth the time to invest in designing it.

The SHO **** is back:
South_Bend_Shift_Knob_SHO.jpg

We will not be able to combine it with the shift pattern.

I received mine not long ago (Basic gate pattern with Jesus gear), and it's a really nice unit. I just need to clean up my SHOrt Shifter before taking some snaps of it. I'm ditching my center console too.

I'll take some pics of my SHO **** today installed, as I just put it back on cause I was doing some wiring work in the console......

I had to put quite a few brake crush washers on the shifter to get the SHO part to line up right, the copper washers were big enough to fit over the shifter, and small enough to fit inside the shift ****
