Im looking to get cross-drilled rotors on my front and just some high performance stock replacements on the back, w/high perf. pads all the way around, curious if this is a good idea or if i should just buy cross-drilled all the way around....also i had a sensor removed off of the half-shafts, dont know name of it but abs is all screwed up, should i buy a new sensor or just replace half shafts??...THanx

if i were you, id forget about the rears (for now) unless they need new pads or if the rotors are warped...the front brakes do most of the work anyway. Then id get a 96' brake upgrade for the fronts. The 96 upgrade works way better than a standard sized performance disk ever will. As for the halfshaft....i am clueless.

Cross-drilled rotors are not that good. The reason why is that you will have less surface area the brake pad will touch and it will eat up your pads faster. Also you can't resurface them. All they do is look nice. The only good cross-drilled rotors that exist are the ones on the real sport cars. They are drilled differently and they cost a lot more than the ones for our cars. My recommendations would be blank brembos with hawk hps pads. They work awesome with min. brake dust. That?s just my .02.
