New member problem with remote start

I have a 2011 SHO with a ford installed remote start system and I’m frustrated with it turning off when opening the door. I have found some tutorials to fix this problem by putting the remote start module into a programming mode and changing the settings. However, these all are for key ignitions and I can’t figure out how to get this to work with push to start. If anyone has advice it would be much appreciated or if there are any open threads for me to look over that would be a big help.
