What's up, guys? My name is Jason and I'm a Ford fan through and through. My wife and I currently own 3 vehicles. 04 Explorer, 99 Mustang Gt vert, and a 92 Taurus L.

I love all 3 (including my wife) equally but differently!

I've been looking at the possibility of owning a SHO for a couple of months. I joined to learn as much as I can.

I registered yesterday, but I do not see an "introduction" section. I would also like to check out the classified section as well!

Thanks!

Jason

Welcome! Any Idea on What Type of SHO You're Interested In?

I think you'll find on this board and at other locations that the various generations of SHO's have different adherents. For example, do you want a Gen I or II SHO with the V6 and possibly the manual, or a Gen III with the V8, but only with an Auto? I think you'll find they are very different cars, but I've only had the Gen III autos, so I can't make a true comparison. But that would be your first decision. Then the board could really help you decide on what would be best for you.

But if you're really interested in a SHO, this is the place to be!

Welcome, and this forum can become really addicting haha:omgsho:

X2!

Once you get your SHO, the "SEARCH" button WILL be your best friend!:salute::thumb::type:

You will most likely have to travel a good distance to get the 'Right One' For instance there is a SWEET 91+ near me..., w/ full black leather & the guy only wants $2,000

Again, Welcome

Sal

Thanks, guys. I know alot of you like the "MTX" (am I getting the lingo?), but I'm thinking automatic. I've got my eye on a 93 with 139k. Red, nice interior, nice exterior, 1 owner. Does 2k sound pretty decent?

Thank you!

Its decent if the maintenance is somewhat up to date , not leaking anything and free of bad rust/rot.

You will learn that a sho is cheap to buy but not that cheap to maintain.

I paid my rusted 94 sho winter beater 400$ in running condition just for the record.

I paid 900 for my 93 Silver MTX, no rust, no A/c tho....

after you get the car you will pay no attention to how much it originally cost in your head... you'll just think about how much you've spent on it since then........ lol

get some good tools my friend......

first couple times you run it out til redline it'll put a smile on your face
