I have a 2010 SHO and I live in Pittsburgh PA. So I experience all weather conditions imaginable all year.

I need to get new brakes and rotors for my car and I obviously want really good stuff. I am pretty ignorant when it comes to car stuff so I am looking for recommendations on what I should get. I will more than likely order from Rock Auto since they seem to be the cheapest I can find...if that helps anyone help me any further.

Thanks in advance!

I just ordered rotors and pads from Carid. The top cop package, and it was reasonable priced and they price match. Plus they're located in Jersey lol. They really were helpful and have lots of different suppliers.

I have done a fair amount of research on this subject, mostly on this forum, there is a ton of information on brakes out here its kind of an ongoing thread that comes up over an over. The short version, the 2010-2012 brakes suck an in my opinion border on dangerous. My plan is to replace my 2012 rotors. calipers, and pads with 2013+ which are supposed to be much better. Even then if you drive her hard your more then likely going to go through pads pretty quickly, There are other options all of them are discussed out here. Let me know if I can do anything to help.
