new 2017 sho

i got a white 2017 sho n i’m looking to make it sound nice along side tinting the windows, i am not looking to tune or upgrade the performance at all.. atleast not yet. but in the mean time i don’t wanna mess up the car i just want louder revs and my windows tinted lol any suggestions for what to do underneath for better sound quality without messing with anything else but strictly the sound

What loud of sound? Catless downpipes to straight pipes like me loud or just a little more louder catback? And does your car require emissions where you live? Im in a PA county with no emissions

i’m in pa aswell so idk anything about emissions, i think i’d want a bit quieter of a sound than straight piping. catless downpipes the move?

Yea id go catless if you dont have yearly emissions testing and ive worked with another member on a top secret exhaust build thats sounds awesome and not loud. Alot Cheaper than a catback system. I can pm you with the parts and locations to add them

Yeah that’d be insanely helpful i’m not much of a car guy so i’m trying to learn. And I definitely want to avoid yearly emissions tests

Delete the muffler and resonators to start with it gives it a nice little rumble and is usually pretty cheap and you can always get louder from there

I deleted my muffler and belly cat and straight piped it all. It’s LOUD AF all the time and super obnoxious when I cold start it. Any mid-throttle acceleration sounds like a wild pack of Honda’s.

I initially did it because everyone thinks im a cop car. I lowered the SHO, added some vanity plates, muffler&cat delete and STILL hardly anybody mess with the SHO. PSA Hellcat owners always act like big **** bad ***** but THEY NEVER RACE! It’s like the fast or more money people dump into cars they less inclined they are to lose to a SHO?

Back on topic, I wish I would have kept my exhaust system intact minus the belly cat which robs a considerable amount of power.
