After almost a 20 year hiatus I am a SHO owner again! I have fond memories of 98 Ohio convention, 99 Atlanta convention, autocross at Devens ( I think lol ) meetings at Dave Dinger Ford etc....

I just wanted to introduce myself to you guys. I live in northeast Massachusetts and am really impressed with the Gen 4 !! I’m learning a lot from you young guys and appreciate the opportunity to ask questions and get solid advice! Thanks.

If it wasn't for you, and other previous GEN owner's, I wouldn't have had, and continue to have, all the fun I have with my own GEN4.

It's an awesome platform to say the least. Still amazes me how little people actually know about them. As it seems was the case with the "older" one's as well. Strange.

I just bought my 2015 SHO about 3 weeks ago. Traded in my ST. Best decision.

Heck ya! Im always in North Andover haha. Butcher's boy and the car wash I use is over there.

This is funny!! I’m in Massachusetts too (Scituate). I’m having 2016 I just bought shipped down from Ohio next week.
“Last SHO I owned was in 1994. I’ve been test driving all different vehicles the past few weeks, and was set to buy new Chevy Traverse. Got home that night and found the 2016 I’m buying at a really good price. The nail on the coffin was the Guard Green color. Hope we get a chance to meet up sometime.

Very nice color choice!! Your taste is quite refined!! I go up to Mass occasionally to visit my inlaws but I am in VA. Congrats on the new SHO!

I know this thread is old but I also live in Northeast Massachusetts, Lynn. I have a black 2014 SHO that I love. I’ve had it for 5 years this month. It’s my daily driver and I have been trying to find a reliable and knowledgeable independent mechanic to do or show me how to do or access certain services (ie PTU fluid change) I bought the car at 32,000 miles and I now have 106,000. Knock on wood, I haven’t had any major issues or failures. It’s not tuned or anything and mostly it’s stock with the exception of cosmetics.Photos are before and present.

Hi All! Figured I'd rekindle this a little bit. I think there are more owners in the Northeast so, this may be a good spot to gather up a bit and maybe actually catch up at some point. I wonder if @subframe is still active? My motor is currently down at CNC Werx which I think is in the same town or, pretty close. Anyway, I always get excited when I see another SHO. @Frank W. I lost a chip of piston on cylinder 1 with about 109k but I'm pretty sure it was my own doing. Never did find out how and decided to go full build with the car. waiting on turbos and intercooling to finish up. Only got about 2 inches of that monster storm we were supposed to get this weekend....

There was a really nice red gen 2 rolling around Springfield, VT last year. I managed to see the car in the shop when I stopped in for a state inspection. It was pretty clean.
If I track him down again, I'll tell him to get on the forum!
