^^^Perfect. On a much sadder note I'm sorry to see that my SHO isn't the only one that seems to magically suck dirt to the side of the car. I thought it was a special quality of the Red. ( ;

It loves the dirt.The color Magnetic should be re-named Dirt Magnet. This coming snow storm is not going to make it any better once they throw more salt on the roads.

DWS 06 Running good in the snow (Erie PA), maybe 18" or so more in spots.
Watching people spin, take TC off and just go around them like nothing.

Good to here this. Was planning on trying the Contis once my F1s run out, which what I've heard won't be that long.

Hated them F1's. Wore out fast 13K, but to be expected with summer tires. Once they got to a point it was hydroplane everywhere almost no matter how much it was raining

I heard they wear fast and ride is improved with other tires. I really don't have complaints about them yet even with dealing with the cold weather as I daily them but they were new when. I bought the car a feee months ago.

Strange, I priced the 255 size and they were more on TireRack than the stock 245. But regardless, I strongly suggest going to Discount Tire if you have one!!! They'll match and even beat ANY price out there! I got my Conti DWS 06 tires about 4 months ago from them with lifetime replacement, etc. for cheap! Love the DWS 06!

What was the comment earlier about H&R Springs making a difference on purchasing these tires?

As I've mentioned before when calling specifying F1 tires, you need to specify which F1 tire you have.

To make an analogy, judging them off of F1 tires is like saying the Ford Mustang is slow. Which version? Base? Ecoboost? GT? Cobra? Without specifying which version of the F1 tires, you don't know what tire is being talked about.

Honestly I didn't know there were different F1 designs. A quick google search shows a few, I have the F1 Supercars.

That's the thing I try to point out, a lot of people don't know there are different versions. So a lot of times someone will buy one version that sucks and complain how terrible they are and persuade someone from not buying the a good set (prices vary as much as the tire performances). You need to be sure you're comparing apples to apples. I've had several versions on previous vehicles and some are great and others not so much.

Several tires I am interested, price a b I g consideration. I usually buy 2 at a time. On front or awd I put best on front, on rear wheel drive I put best on rear. If I like them I buy 2 more and rotate.
I wanted to go to the bigger 255/45/20 over my current 245/45/20. I know tire places say don't mismatch but really is a 1/2 inch in width going to really effect the ride or mess with the stability-control etc?
