i really like the engine cover.

Thanks, I painted it a few years ago, thought that it matched the car better now. Whatdayathink? Not a bad looking ride with 133,000 miles on her.:) Those lines and streaks in the hood and front are trees!

Thanks for the nice replies, I have always tried to keep this car looking good, black is so hard to keep clean.
Yes the chin spoiler is lawn edging. I replaced it just the other day so right now it looks good, I wanted some pics before it gets scraped up a bit, just took those pics today.

Funmart do you have pics of how it was attached or what you actually had to do to it?

I don't have any installation pics, but all I did was remove the plastic panel that is under the front of the car with the factory "air dam" intact, then measured it (factory air dam), I think it is something like 82 inches from side to side. Measure and cut some lawn edging same length. I used a knife to remove the anchor material from the back side (inside curve) of the edging, this allows the edging to butt right up to the factory air dam. Flip the edging so that the lip or bead is facing down (some people prefer to cut off the bead but I think it adds some strength so I leave it the way it is). Line up the end of the edging with the end of the factory air dam and secure with machine screws, start at one end and work around to the other end holding everything tight as you scew it all together. I used 9 screws. After it is all screwed together, use some black "Fusion" paint to make the edging a darker black, then bolt it all back to the car.:thumb:

Black SHO's are always the best looking.

I was looking through a thread and saw a few shots of someones Charcoal SHO and I have to say that takes my top slot in color. Looked almost purplish in the sun.

My choice colors: Charcoal, black, silver

I do not care for the fog lights. They do not seem to fit the car.

Other than that, looks good for the miles.

I chose to add the lights because the earlier generations had them. I shopped around for some quality oval shaped lights, (I didn't want square lights on a curvaceous car), and found these PIAA fog/driving lights. They are small yet very bright.
Anyway, I thought these lights fit the overall shape of the car, and they were small enough to fit inside the front valance without any clearance issues.
