Don't know about NOVA, but Superior Auto in Rockville did work on my SHOs. They are good with them, not the best, but good. ProTech was the best, but Kevin sold the business.

Where in NOVA are you looking? What kind of work?

I am in Chantilly. Looking for someone who knows things like whether the suspension is good or needs replacement of parts like sway bars, etc. not just someone who has experience fixing them... Found someone here who does, but someone who KNOWS them.

A deep level of knowledge about the SHO will likely be held by forum members at this point, most businesses have "moved on". I keep calling on Kevin & Luigi because they are in the Richmond area, you can try Scott if you are in the Wheaton/MD area.

I got so busy and tired of wrenching on these things. I recently started farming out SHO work. I would contact Kevin in VA or look at guys in PA. Area 91 or mrecoolgar

Any good mechanic that knows how to drive the car and use a pry bar really ought to be able to evaluate the condition of your suspension; there's nothing special or unusual about the SHO suspension. One thing to check out is how close a wheel alignment will get to factory specs. Do you hear any creaks, squeaks, or pops when you are driving the car? I'm out near Gainesville and could meet up at lunch time one day or something like that.

Bob, shoot, I am 15 minutes away... Sure, lunch or better yet a weekend day. I am on travel Sunday through Wednesday, and this is my busiest time of year on the weekends... Season tix to the Ravens, and on Saturdays I assistant coach both my kids baseball teams... Maybe sometime on a Saturday afternoon or late afternoon in the next two or three weeks?
