You can't accurately test a MAF using an ohm meter. If you are so **** bent on the fact that your MAF is causing issues, unplug the thing and drive the car around for a bit. If it drives better unplugged, then the MAF is your issue, if it makes no difference, then it's not. The car should run just fine without it.

Did you check the condition of your plugs and wires yet? Cheap Autolite Copper plugs will set you back $6, work just fine and are good for 10k miles or so.

If you are incapable of doing such tasks (ex... asking what socket you need to take spark plugs out does not instill me with much confidence) due to a lack of tools or knowledge, you might want to consider taking your SHO to a reputable mechanic, or at the very least investing in a good repair manual and a mechanics toolset. Asking repeated questions about the same part week after week (that is most likely not the cause of your issues) is not going to help your SHO run better.

All i was asking in this post, was on the resistance of the mass airflow because i read it was supposed to be near 0, and i didn't know if 4 was close enough to 0. that is all. nothing more.

Where did you hear that? You cannot bench test a MAF unless you have a calibrated device that will allow you to blow air through the MAF at different rates. Even then, you would want to measure the VOLTAGE drop caused by the MAF at different flow rates, not it's resistance. A bad MAF might be good at low flow rates but not higher flow rates, or the other way around.

You have one of 2 choices if you want to ensure the MAF is not the issue, which sadly it most likely is not given you have stated "What plugs and wires should i get for my 92 mtx sho. pretty sure they're super old."

1. Disconnect the MAF like I said and see if drivability improves. If it improves with it unplugged, see #2.
2. Buy a replacement MAF from someone on the forum, they are super cheap.

I read how to check to see if your maf sensor is bad on google and it sent me to ehow.com. That's why I like this forum because I definitely trust you guys over ehow. thanks for all the info man.

most of spark plug is covered in white stuff

Just took out spark plug number 4 and it was covered in white stuff. motorcraft brand, so i'm guessing these are original. looks like white stuff means its not getting enough fuel. next fix= fuel filter, spark plugs, and wires!
