Cheaper here. Plus there's a $25 rebate. They should make for a sticky street tire, just don't expect 'em to last a long time.

You might not generate enough heat in them autocrossing to realize their full potential. Should be stickey nonetheless.

They're actually cheaper in the eBay link. Your link is charging $120 a pop, meaning $480 a set compared to the $413.99 on eBay.

more rubber, more HP.....
You just gotta love the scammers that make their livelihood on ebay. Undercut the advertised price, get the customer excited so he hits BUY-IT-NOW, then RAPE them on the shipping. C'mon, $79.90?????!!!!!

You want them cheap get them HERE at Vulcantire.com. $108/each with shipping in the $40-50 range.

Or better yet, this is what I do. Go to Discount Tire, go early in the day when everyone is fresh. Be real nice and pleasant like, and look for the friendliest looking salesman in the room. Ask if he would match the advertised price from Vulcantire. Unless the guy is hungover, he almost always says yes. "You'll take care of the shipping too?" Again, yes. And, they give you a break on the mounting and balancing at $11/tire. You'll save roughly $80 all-in-all after sales-tax is accounted for.

I buy all of my tires from Vulcan, they have the best price on Falkens!

Edit: As for Discount, they can suck the big one! When I tried to price match, all of the A-holes said they don't match internet prices because they don't have service like them, don't work the warranty on their tires, and make you pay shipping. They wouldn't even match the price with shipping included. And to top that off, the last time my tire was ruined within the "free replacement" period, the A-holes charged me pro-rated before I read and found out my tire should've been replaced for free. Now, I just buy my tires from Vulcan and have them mounted and balanced for $10 each at a local shop.

Not to change the subjext but... what are the avg life expectancy for a falken if it was used as a street and track tire? The reason i ask is i have a set of Fuzion ZRIs that i put on about 10k ago and they are getting very low on treat so i am looking for something higher in quality.

You want over 10k miles?

I have a set of Falken 512's on one of my SHO's and ran them down before 10k. Those are suppose to be tires that last over 30k.

The life of the tire is up to the driver.

I have the Yokohama tires on mine. Replaced a set of Michelin Pilots that lasted about 40,000 miles. Both work great for all around driving. Can't really tell any difference in the two (except for price of course). I don't race mine, so I don't know too much about the handling at the track, but I've been well over 100 mph many times on both the Michelins and the Yokohamas, and both seem stuck to the road at that speed, just waiting for more.

And I have now bought 3 sets of tires from one of the local Discount Tire stores, and have had nothing but good experiences. It's probably like most stores of any type. The quality of the service is in the people who run the store, not in the store itself.
