insturment cluster

just got my insturment cluster in the mail from a junkyard. $40 for the whole thing when i just asked for the speedometer not bad. My question is how hard is it to install and to calibrate?

It install it is not to bad actually. I think it took me and a friend about an hour or so to get to the cluster. First you have to remove the metal sheet under the stearing wheel it is held in by 4 star screws. The center consoule is then held in by 4 star screws. 2 are above the instrument cluster and the other 2 are under the metal sheet you removed. You will also need to pull off the **** for the headlights and unscrew the nut. Then it will be a pulling and wiggling match to get it off. Before you take it off all the way disconnect the wire harnesses. The rest is quite easy and is visable. Once you unscrew the tack you can just pull it out but becareful of the speedo line. You may not need to calibrate it if the needle is still on but Im not sure. Some one lese had to calibrate theirs.
