Same lights?
Aren't the gauge lights controlled by the dimmer too? I'm not being beligerent, I can't ever remember using my dimmer before! If it is, it's probably a problem witht eh dimmer unit- my Mustang had a similar problem where when you turned the wheel on the dimmer, it would either turn them on or off, rendomly anywhere across the span of the wheel- no pattern. I'd just go get a donor unit from the boneyard and replace the dimmer.
