Put scanner on my 97 and 96 V8 SHO, trouble code comes up. IMRC. Intake manifold runner control? What does that mean and how can I fix it?

If it is stuck open the secondaries probably need cleaned of carbon, the cable may be frayed inside the box or the mechanicals inside the box may be broken.
