How to Remove Door Panel?

My front passenger window moves up and down very slowly and a scratch has dveloped on the outside of the window...so I would like to try and diagnose/fix this problem. In addition, my rear windows aren't getting a signal from the front panel...

So, how do I remove and replace a door panel? Should I leave that to a shop? If so, what kind of shops do this work?

The plastic interior panel is pretty easy to take off, just take out a screw by the door handle and then pull....but as far as access to the window/motor, there isn't much of it. The wiring is right there, but if it's the window motor I would have a shop do it.
