I know this sounds like a stupid question, but the two allen bolts that come out so you can clean the EGR pasageway on the intake. Do they come out Clockwise? (Counter-clock is not working to hot), or do they come out at all? I do not know how much gunk is in there, but sense I have the intake off for some customizing, might as well do a thurough job of it. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Eric

No, these are 8mm allen's, one right underneath the throdle body, the second one faces the firewall (Right below where the EGR hooks up.) They go directly in the intake and become flush with it.They don't look like they would be easy to break, just a beach to get out after being on for 120K mi.
