The composite hood on my 91 lifts or shakes at freeway speeds. The edges lift up at the front corners, most noticeable on the drivers side. The rubber pads that can screw up and down seem to be making contact. I also noticed that bugs were getting squashed on the intake runners, so it looks like the hood in not "air tight".

The latch is tight and you have to press firmly to latch. Any ideas welcome.

thanks Bill

Does the hood look right otherwise, while your are sitting still. If it follows the fender lines and is properly placed at rest, then you have to look into reinforcing (from underneath) the leading edge. If you raise your hood a bit and put some 2 X 4's chunks on the fender (at each side of the hood at the front), can you press down on the center of the hood at the front, and make it flex?

Thanks will check out those ideas. There does not appear to be any front end damage, but the whole fenders/bumpers/hood intersections don't fit together as well as my Accord. Maybe some fine tuning.
