At some point my car was in a low speed collision on the front end all the headlight brackets are glued and zip tied together. So naturally I yanked it all out today on a whim. Only part i have that is decent is one complete headlight lol the rest is junk. Does anybody have a picture of the header panel minus the headlights, and am i correct that we share the same one with the Mercury?

If you can't find another SHO, the same header panel is used on a 92 to 95 Sable

I have one in my for-sale thread, and some decent (but not great) headlights and fishtanks too if you need that.

Do not throw anything away from your old ***** set-up that you have now. The whole header panel is a big disappointment when you take it apart and look at all the pieces. It is a pile of flimsey junk that you can reposition with your fingers with almost no effort. Try to get an existing header panel rather than buying a new one from somewhere like RockAuto. The new one will not fit as well. Also, you will need a lot of those small pieces that only come with an old unit. It is a real challenge to work with and takes a lot of patience to assemble. And do not tighten anything until it is all in, including the outer edges at the fender.

I fix cracks in header panels and light assemblies by drilling small holes and safety wiring them together, followed by either JB weld or superglue and baking soda. A good used factory header panel is preferable, but it is difficult to find an unbroken one. They also tend to be brittle from age. I have an aftermarket header panel on my SHO, from ebay, and while it is not as robust as the OEM part, it is perfectly adequate for the job. I had no problems fitting it. Get new Sable headlight assemblies from Amazon, or whatever source your prefer, and recondition your fishtanks with a 3M headlight restoration kit. They bolt right up to the Sable headlights.

Thanks for all the info guys I would put my original header panel back together and try and stitch weld it or epoxy it back together but really there's No real pieces of it left. I have been toying with the idea of getting rid of the front factory headlights completely and coming up with some custom LED light bars and turn signals / corner markers and putting them all behind a smoked headlight cover
