Hello SHO Enthusiasts:

I just joined and was encouraged to introduce myself to the group. I have two 1995 MTX SHOs; the blue one has been mine since it was built and the silver one I bought used to be a daily driver. I joined the official SHO club back in '95 and attened the SHO convention in Detroit that year. I took second place in the drag racing event in my stock SHO despite the lack of a seperate catagory for modified SHOs. I also took second in the SHO beauty contest which really just means that I have a Monk-like ability to detail a car.
The silver SHO had just over 60K when I bought it so I took it to Performance Plus in Madison , WI for its 60K maintenance. He let me video tape the whole proceedure and provided me with a wealth of SHO knowledge. At just over 100K I decided that I wanted to make the car as reliable as possible so I decided to drop the entire powertrain and replace every major component outside of the engine and trans. While I was at it I decided to make some upgrades. I installed the "canyon carver" suspension kit from the SHO Shop as well as the T-bird MAF and the mildest SHO Shop chip upgrade. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to race the silver SHO at a road course call Gratten near Battle Creek, MI. It was a blast and the SHO passed a Vette of late "90s vintage and pushed a Mazda Rx-8 right off of the track.
I'm glad that I found this site.
