I'm sure there will be an update later on down the road, Like with Forza Motorsports on XBOX 360 that had the SHO.

I wish the 1st Gen was on there more than any other SHO. It would be nice to have the 4th Gen too though.

Need for speed hot pursuit that was just released and it has the new interceptor car. While it's not a driving simulator it's a very good game. One of the highest rated games I have seen.

I'm pretty sure it's because they started working on the game before the original SHO came out.

ha ha i see what you did there lolz :snicker:

No I think it’s because the new SHO doesn’t appeal to younger audiences. The original SHO was cool because it was a Taurus and no one thought “o it’s got a Yamaha engine in it.” The new SHO really doesn’t appeal to us younger crowd because it’s too fat and cant corner worth a damn. If ford made it to appeal to the youth it would be a G8 GXP killer.

... lol what? I think any car that can fit you and a few buddies, has 2 turbos and over 300 HP can and DOES appeal to all crowds.. ****, my GF who doesn't really give two ***** about cars wants one and says they are sexy and fast.... I think you fall under the "ricer" crowd who thinks if it doesn't have 2 doorswith a v8. or 4 cylinders, from japan and sounds like a bees nest crawling towards you its not appealing..

I know a couple of people who have had a much different experience in that regard.

I'll let them chime in if they feel the need.

Target audience for GT5 is the teen crowd, thus the gratuidis amounts of Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Mazda cars. I also love how everyone thinks that this is only going to be sold in the US, most of the profit is giong to come from the eourpe and asia markets. When the SHO can beat an EVO or STI on an autoX course please let me know. No I’m not a ricer I’m a tuner... big difference. Turbos are only good when they are big enough to make a diffrence, if you hear them spool, and if the BOV makes a beautiful sound. I don’t like big engines and I hate small ones, it really depends on the application of the car in question. The fact is the SHO is a nice car if you’re going for a cruse or a nice dally driver. It weighs in at a hefty 4,388 pounds and that is almost enough to overwhelm the stock suspension/brakes. If you’re not going in a straight line it sucks, it’s like you’re driving a tank. Lolz and no idc its grate to see everyone getting fired up, the SHO comunity needs a jumpstart anyway.

ricer/tuner... all i hear is knucklehead.

the reason for the prevalence of JAPANESE cars just might be the designer, developer and publisher ARE ALSO JAPANESE.

last I checked, no one was ever touting the gen 4 as a corner carving, lightweight, purpose built homogenated race car to allow Ford to compete in a certain racing series (the reason for the STi and the EVO for even existing)

I think the general complaint, was why they were including a bunch of pedestrian cars like a damn Pontiac vibe or a 98 accord (betcha i can sling a gen 4 SHO around a track faster than either of those buckets)

you saw this as an opportunity to troll and take *** shots at a car.

No one was painting stripes on this donkey and calling it a zebra. you did that on your own. your conclusion for why the creator/developer would choose not to include the new Taurus SHO have ignorance and fail written all over it.

knucklehead.

Never trolled the car, **** I own 2 SHOs and a SES thats getting a SHO swap and a festiva. Ricer and tuner are 2 diffrent things... Most trusted car brand over seas is ford btw... Pontiac vibe is based a toyota platform its easly to modify the models and skins to reflect the car most of the cars in the game are made that way to save time on development.
