Good evening, My names Steve and I am a Taurus Addict.....specifically 2010-13 models. I have a 2013 SEL Deep Impact Blue/Charcoal cloth. I like cars, women, aviation but not just planes. all facets of aviation, weather, planning, flying, and think that planes are one of the most majestic creatures around. For profession I am a aircraft dispatcher so be ready for my forum photos to have ("BONUS FOOTAGE")....aircraft. This is my second recent Ford prior to the 13 Taurus I had a 12 Escape and three vehicles before that was a 1993 Taurus GL.

I am also starting to like the new Dark Side for 2014 Taurus.....for 2014 there will be a Dark Side (Dark Blue) AND Deep Impact Blue.

As I Was!!!! I got to see a closer color sample of the Dark Side.....no pun intended for you Star Wars geeks.........I mean Fans.

Dark Side the Ford Color for 2014 is more of a extremely dark gray but not quite black. When you go the Build/Price for the 2014 Taurus is looks like an extremely dark blue, but in person it looks closer to black. The local dealer didn't have any 2014 Taurus in yet and no Dark Side of any model. Closest new color for 2014 was a Escape with the Sunset Metallic.. not my color choice but not too bad either....about one-two shades darker than the Ruby Red Metallic. If they had the dark blue from the Pickup line on the Taurus I would be in Chicago building my own Taurus.

Too close to black....when I can see the color in person (Any vehicle to at least get the idea) I could change my mind........until then Deep Impact Blue or Sterling Grey/Charcoal Interior.......I cant get the Ingot Silver....my G/F has a 2011 Honda Accord with Silver/Charcoal.........we don't want to clash at dinner parties or snow storms.....LOL!!!!
