BTW, I think I'm flying in and renting for this. There's suppose to be a track day I'm attending at VIR or Summit Point in the spring as well, and I don't think I can take the time off and drive to both TWS and VIR.

So I rented a sweet ride from a large rental company. No, not the GT-H.

Where does everybody normally stay for this? local hotel info? I may drag the wife along for this.

Mark Nunnally SR71 SHO

May have to bring the GM product to this as my 92 probably won't be ready by then, and if I pick up another 89 it probably won't be either. (we won't be in the new house till Feb, and I don't plan on doing squat other than eating/sleeping for Feb/March)

Oh, ****. I hope this is a really good weekend. I just found out that the NFL draft is this weekend. I'll have to bring my laptop and keep an eye on the draft in between sessions...

Any weekend not working on this stupid house will be a good one. I could sit in the pits and change people's 1200 degree brakes with no gloves between sessions and it would be better than more house work.

What is your rent-a-racer?

I haven't seen Sergio since the Madison Convention, been awhile.

Well, I have a certain 2 door Infiniti rental lined up through a certain large rental company...

Most of us stay here.

Some that want spas and such stay here.

It's way to early to make reservations, the closer to the date the rates are lower. We usually pay like 59 bucks a night at Super8, 79 bucks a night at Holiday Inn Express, but that was last years rates.

I really hate being "that" guy...but I may need to back out of this. I had planned on a 3 week trip encompassing the Convention in Seattle. Well, I may need to add a week at the end of that with some friends in Michigan.

That makes almost a 4 week trip and added cost and less money made. I need to siphon money if I do that. I'll know soon...

Good idea if anyone wants to go to get your paid in soon. Paddocks are first come first serve and could quickly run out.

Download this, fill out and fax back is the best way to sign up. Their website isn't working properly.

Oh man... this looks tempting.

Do you know which of the various road course configurations they plan on running?

2.9 mile course, very fun!!!!!!!!

word mucho funno!

Its an old NASCAR track made into a road course. Nothing like screaming along the back bank next to the grand stands and diving down into turn one.

hmmm that would be fun to watch PanamaPat and the FreakSHO go at it!

WHOOOSH!!
