I even found a guy at referee camp from Lubbock that is going to go, PLUS a guy from here in Midland! thumb

I can't remember from the discussions in Austin...where exactly will the Run take place? Any maps from previous runs? Hotel ideas?

I do, however, remeber Don saying it was a great time...of course several of the folks who showed up in Austin said the same thing, so I am ready!

Sure glad to met up with us at Oasis to show us that pretty blu baby!

It will likely be in the Kerrville/Bandera area again this fall, and the scenery is just beautifuol there. Hopefully we won't have any raindrops fallin on our heads like last year!

KERRVILLE SCOUT REPORT:

just returned from Kerrville, heres what i checked out while i was there. first and foremost, KPD now has an 03 Cobra in full police gear. i talked with a few of the officers and they have said they had fun chasing ppl on 16 (the twisty and hilly road) in the Cobra. roads still arent improved but they werent that bad either. Border Patrol and DPS always heavy in the area. not only is there a NAPA, A-Z, and Carquest. now theres a Home Depot and Lowes. a few new restaurants but didnt get time to check em out. KPD also has new decals on their cars. white cars, blue graphics. for those that pay attention to detail, the previous graphics where green and blue.

thats all i can recall right now.

So where is the Hotel? Are we staying in S.A.? or are we staying in Kerrville? We're 5 weeks away, and no hotel reservations have been made. I'm ok with the Hampton that we stayed in last year, but need some feedback. shrug
