exhaust question

I am currently in the middle of a atx to mtx swap and was wondering if I could use the 3.2 exhaust manifolds with the atx y pipe I have cable shift linkage so I don't think it would be an issue but would like to see if anyone has done it.

All I know is the the 3.2 manifolds needs to be mated to a 3.2 Y-pipe. And 3.0 Manifolds needs to be matched with a 3.0 Y-pipe.

After that , I dont know.

Just out of curiousity, is this due to the different engine location or the subframe.....or both?
