engine temp sensor

hey everyone. my engine temp sensor isnt working. where is it located?easy or hard fix?

Are you talking about the one that the EEC uses, or the one the dash gauge uses?

Both are under the throttle body, near the t-stat housing.

When looking over the drivers fender into the engine bay, the dash gauge sensor is on the left of the t-stat housing. The ECT sensor, used by the EEC, is to the right of the t-stat housing.

Just to add the dash gauge is a 1 wire sensor and the ECT one is a 2 wire unit.
