Thanks for the advice. I went with the lighter shade "Tint" and after I put them on I'm not sure I need to cut out the clear. I figured that I would live with it for a day or two and see.Sorry for late reply - yes I used a razor and hand cut the clear areas. It was a nerve-racking job but luckily the clear areas are highlighted by chrome accent that shows through the tint nicely. I just followed on the outside of the chrome surround.

Thanks. I used the "Tint" colored film from Lamin-x. It's the lightest shade of gray that they have. I also used "Tint" on the headlights.I like it. What percentage is that?
