i read about a way to double the sampleing rate for the RS148, so you get 480sample/sec vs. 240 sample/sec stock. basically it lets the logger run at 9600 baud. i must say it works great. enjoy! Corey

To double the maximum speed by a factor of two, you can raise the sample rate to 480 samples/sec by configuring WinDaq to run at 9600 baud. Click Start, Programs, [Accessories], Command Prompt or MS-DOS Prompt and type:
C:\WINDOWS>CD \DATAQ
C:\DATAQ>DEBUG CODASPAR.BIN
-E 4BA 80
-E 4BB 25
-W
Writing 00AAE bytes
-Q
C:\DATAQ>EXIT

Could this be made a "sticky"? I have a feeling it will get buried, and I will forget all about it.

Very good info Corey, thanks!

no problem. should only really need this when running all four channels so that we can get 120hz vs. 60hz sampling rate per channel. Peace_Corey
