You guys want a September Meet? Fine, no sweat.

Tell ya what Zorin's got cooking.

I'm the president of StarQuests of Houston, which specializes in the Mitsubishi Starion and Chrysler Conquest TSi. StarQuests of Houston and TSC, which is the Texas StarQuest Club are putting together a massive meet in Denton, TX, Sept 2-5. We will be doing dyno runs, a cruise, and an 8th mile strip, plus a car show, and Barb-B-Que catered at the dyno place. I have also arranged with Radisson Hotel Denton to give a discount to anyone who comes to this thing. Their usual rate is $135 a night, for somebody coming to this, it's $80 a night, up to 4 people in a room.

The TCCA is welcome to join in on this if so desired. Please post back responses relatively quickly, as some arrangements would have to be made, but it would not be a big deal. We'd love to have you there.

Here's the downside. All of our prizes are for Starions and Conquests, but you can get in on the cheap, cheap dyno runs, and the other goodies we have set up.

This is a National Meet for the Starion guys, so there should be a lot of those out there, and we'll be happy to find a way to include you guys in the action. DFW DSM is considering coming, and besides, we'd love to run dow the track with ya.

I'm going to clarify this a bit...

Friday - Drive in, meet at hotel. Optional rendezvous in the hotel bar.

Saturday - Dyno and car show at ATS Racing in Denton TX.

Saturday Night - Dragster racing at Speed Zone in Dallas.

Sunday - Scenic cruise through North Texas on some nice twisties.

Sunday Night - 8th mile action at Kennedale Raceway

Monday - Check out, travel home.

Registration is $30, which covers the catered lunch, administrative costs, and so forth.

The dyno is a wideband 02 type, and it's $30 for three runs, pre registered. It's $40 at the door, space and time permitting.

$10 to get in at Kennedale. Watch or race all you want...$10.

we would like to have y'all out there....come on guys..its a fun chance to race other cars and sho 'em wut a taurus can do.....i'm gona try to be there w/ my sable but i know they would like us out there.....

****, sounds like fun. I could use a clutch in the 92 before then however...guess we'll have to see how the cards play. I have a feeling this 92 will never be nearly as fast as the ol 89..

Sorry to say that you will be swamped in Mitsubishis, but we have a lot of neat **** set up, and we're not Hondas......if you guys wish to mention this to the SHO fellows, by all means. It's just that I know none of them, and I have had the luxury of rapping with you guys for a good couple of months now, and i can tell that most of you are cool, and on the level.

Anyway, I'd love to see you guys there. Any and all questions can be left here, which I will dutifully check, or can be emailed to [email protected]<this is Zorins email so he'll be able to answer more questions for y'all..
