Does the 3.0L and 3.2L engines use the same p/n for the cylinder heads? It seems to me that it should not, but when I look on eBay they appear to be the same cylinder head part number.

^^ not quite the information you need.

the rear head is the same for both 3.2 and 3.0

the front head is a different casting - the 3.2 has a boss for the alternator mount that will need to be cut off if you want to put 3.0 accessories on the engine. the 3.0 does not have that, so the alternator will be missing one of the mounting locations for the single belt accy drive if you have a 3.0 front head (not that it matters a lot, since there are more bolts holding it on than I think you need).

combustion chamber volume is identical between the two, as are the ports, etc.

there may be 2 different part numbers for the rear head. early versions of the 3.0 had an 8mm threaded boss to attach the factory lift bracket. at some point that boss switched to a 10mm threaded hole. not a big deal unless you have a critical shortage of 8 or 10mm bolts.
its the rear lift bracket, attaches to the head above the oil sender.
