I own a 92 Ford Taurus SHO and was looking for some coilovers. Is there anywhere else to get them besides SHO Source? Thanks!

You might find a used set of Ground Controls if you post a WTB. Problem is, you will be just as hard pressed to find Konis to put in the coil overs. Konis are long discontinued and don't come available for sale too often and when they do they usually need to be rebuilt.

Please consider putting up some detailed pics when the product comes to fruition :thumb:

Ground Control will still sell you coilover sleeves with any spring rates that you want. The task after that is finding a set of Koni's to have rebuilt to match them.

The SHOsource Units are incredibly nice and worth every penny regardless, assuming some of the initial QA issues are fixed this time around.

Were the issues that Sam had fixed? Reading his review on SHOsource I can tell that he likes them other than the end link mishap.

The end link mishap (and I wasn't the only one) came from not having the Jamnut tight enough. With these, you REALLY have to bang them tight against the endlink bracket to get them to stay. The other issue was the sleeve that went in to the knuckle being just BARELY to small. SHOsource eventually resolved this and sent out new sleeves.

Again, they were fantastic coilovers - My heavy Supercharged SHO rode fantastic with them, slammed to the ground. Travel was not an issue. I loved them.

Anyone who complains about the price is just ignorant to what they could potentially getting. Well valved, well built coil-overs for such a niche platform is pretty rare. Even the Megan coilovers offered for the new SHO (Flex..?) wouldn't hold a candle to these.

Sounds like we need SHOSource to build us some coilovers for the 2010+, esp. for the 2013+ since the coilovers have yet to materialize.
