Check engine light with code # 114

I started my car today to go to school it was about 34 dgrees out side and i let my car warm up then i started driving and my check engine light turned on then a mile down the road it turned off...i took it to autozone and they said it is code #114 ..they said it is the air charge temperature circuit (ACT) and then i looked on midwestsho.com they said it is the IAT sensor out of range dose anybody have any idea what this is ?

Air Charge temp sensor. Its the little sensor thats screwed into the lower portion of the filter housing. If the temps were done below 50F its common to get that code.

ok thanks i also cleand it... it was dirty also ..but does anyone knoe how i can clear the code back out?

that would normally not pop the CEL, so i bet you may have a O2 sensor on the frits. (thats usually the only code/causes that the CEL will come on and go off again without restarting the engine...) check again in a few weeks, or if you notice a loss of gas mileage.

well i know that my dads 94 atx CEL turns on and off and it turned out to be the EGR valve ill keep a eye on it ..i just put gas in my car lastnight and it got 23 MPG hopefully its not a O2 sensor

To clear the codes look in my sig for instructions on how to get the codes yourself. And when you running the codes pull the jumper it will clear them.
