So i pulled into work today, and stopped, cut the car off, then saw i had a couple minutes, so i turned the key to the "on" position, and started listening to music. After a couple of minutes, the Check Engine Light starting flashing, like it was flashing codes. Not just flashing, but in different patterns. Is this normal???

It's probably flashing the codes that are stored in the computer at you. Don't know if its normal for it to run a KOEO test under that situation though. I don't know if i've ever sat that long with the key in that position. I wouldn't think it would unless you had the jumper wire plugged in.
I usually just turn it the other way one turn if I just want to listen to music cause then it doesn't turn on all the extra stuff like the fuel pump.
