My 94 is ready for new rotors, so I thought I would do the brake upgrade to the larger Lincoln rotors now. What do I need for the swap besides the rotors? Do I have to change the caliper brackets, calipers, brake shoes? web page

It sounds like you are looking at the so called 96 brake upgrade. There is lots of good info on www.shotimes.com and on this site. Try the search tool with 96 brake upgrade and you will find the best part numbers and prices.

94-95 SHO's utilize the same caliper as the 96+ SHO's, as well as the correct knuckle. I'd say autozone for the rotors, they're $35 each, and ford parts network for the brackets, at around the same price per bracket. It's up to you for pads, the normal store bought brands aren't really the most desireable pad for spirited driving.

Before I start digging into this too deep....does anybody know if the Crown Vic Brackets are the same as the Conti brackets? My dealer wants $142 for a set of new Conti Brackets and none of the salvage yards seem to have Conti parts.
