The EcoBoost Battle is open to all EcoBoost powered vehicles including Fiesta ST, Focus ST, Taurus, Explorer, F-150, Mustang, and all other EcoBoost powered Ford vehicles. Many aftermarket modifications are permitted and vehicles must meet all NHRA safety regulations. The class will race heads-up on a .400 tree (sportsman ladder).

So the race weekend unfortunately a race day because it was super cold and raining all weekend...then Sunday there was a little grace shined down upon us! Finally a day that was NOT 50° with rain all day!

There were a ton of fast and I do mean FAST cars that hit the track! Unfortunately there were a few that HIT the track too. The Terminators tamed the Snakes, the Lightnings brought some thunder along with them and there was even a BoostedGT taking on a legend! The turnout was insane, especially for the weather that we had!

Everyone tried their best to get the racing fit all of that racing in, but there just no way. They are still racing as we speak, but someone had to come and post all about it right? Unfortunately the data service at the track was nonexistent or else I would have posted stuff live.

That "race car" did. When it was 50° out, and after 7 and 8 second cars heated up the track for him.

But ran a 12.6 in an actual race...like with actual competition, an actual timing tree, people watching, with 80° temps...


Too bad we didn't have enough time to test our car post turbo upgrade! We got her finished on Wednesday, and then she spent a few hours on the dyno. Unfortunately we had to leave early Thursday morning because we sponsored the events so we couldn't make it out to the track for testing. BUMMER!!!!!!!!!

We were so upset that we couldn't run that as soon as we came back into work yesterday she hit the dyno ASAP! The head calibrators were in the car before I even came in yesterday morning! That is how you know he was...angry...let's just leave it at that.... She is headed out to the track tomorrow (weather permitting) to reclaim her title of the baddest EcoBoost out there...PERIOD. The best part is that she still has actual parts that she was made with like an interior, 3.15 gears and dash (not fictional 3.73's, a roll cage and all of the other actual racecar goodies) lol. There might be a new fastest and quickest EB WR tomorrow...CAN'T WAIT

Testing or not, that 11.13 is crazy impressive for the new platform.
