Howdy Boys (spoken like Mr. Hanky),

I've sent my hi-flow, EH, BBB, P&P plenums, intake to a startup Powdercoater from my motorcycle forum. And thought I'd share the results.

He's considering servicing our community so I though you might want to see what his work looks like. I would presume if there is enough interest he'll be compelled to become a regular sponsor and everybody wins. Anyway stay tuned for progress reports on this project.

FYI these gold snakes will be nested inside of mirror black plenums with gold inlay sitting atop mirror black valve covers.

Beth if I'm pushing the envelope just let me know.

Looks good! How much is he charging, I goy my entire intake done for $150 with 2 colours. If he can do it for a similar price (specificly just the runners and one valve cover and the full intake and one valve cover) I would let your guy do my second intake instead.

mmm... Very glossy. I assume this is the "greenie" SHO. Would be interesting to see an entire engine(VCs, runners, surge tanks, timing cover) powdercoated gold.

Considering the labor to polish the pieces before PC I suppose it would depend on how "finished' you would want it. Its gotta be shiny to PC shiny!

I absolutely do not want to step on Bizzy toes. So as regards discussions about business I would prefer not going there until my guy sets something up. Just trying, after 40 years, to be PC (politically correct, not powdercoated )

Should have it back by next weekend. Paul (ledzep(?)) has Greenie just about ready to come home. Gotta get me some of that new SHOrty Sifter action going for the convention.

I think I'll bring both: Greenie for SHO and Ready for go.
