Do people feel price is reasonable?
It looks on the high side, but depends on what else the owner did to maintain the car during their ownership. Looks like the seats were redone and the paint as well. Car should have been cleaned up and the bumper put back on.

I was going to say that the price is 2x too high. If it were together and all working, Maybe asking $3k max. Stuff like the cracked dash is a biggie.

I can't believe the number of people that want top dollar without even a basic cleaning. The seats are pretty neat, but would still look better cleaned up I'm sure! Could probably get $3500 if he cleaned it up, put tires on it, fixed the front bumper and 'installed engine parts.' Rust free cars are getting hard to find, but you need to represent them in order for them to be worth something!

To answer a few questions about the car. The seats and paint are both original. The owner doesnt expect to get $3500 for it which is why there is a best offer, but it does come with over $600 worth of new parts from Rock Auto and receipts. The bumper can't be put back on because it needs the inner part of the bumper which cracked due to the California sun. (He asked on this forum multiple times for recomendations on a bumper fix but found little help). He would also would have loved to clean it up more before listing it and put new tires on it, the shocks, brakes and rotors but has a toddler, and twin newborns (and if he had time to do that he wouldnt be selling the car).
Accepted a best offer this morning from an ebayer with (0) feedback, so it is questionable that the sale will go through. If it doesn't, he would be open to other offers from anyone else in the SHO community.

As a father of young kids, I understand. But a basic cleaning isn't that difficult. I also understand how hard it is to find the under bumper part for a Gen 1 in good condition. I drove 6 hour round trip to get a damaged one because it was better than the one I had. Also, as someone trying to sell a running, driving 95 MTX with a bunch of mods for $3500, I think an asking price of $3500 for a non running car is pretty high (even though Gen 1's are better ).
