Ok, my positive connector is literally glued to the post on the battery. I have losened the screw all the way and when I pull up I pull the battery with me. Any suggestions to get it off?

First clean the terminal really good with a wire brush and terminal cleaner or baking soda and water. That'll get the crud off. Then you're gonna need to tap on the terminal on one side then the other with a hammer or something that can break the terminal loose. You will want to replace the terminal more than likely after this. Once it gets bent up it tends to either do the same thing you have now or not get enough contact with post. Keep moving it back and forth until you get it loose enuf to remove. That's about the best advise I can give you. Hope it helps.

ok, I assume you are replacing the battery now, but if you cant due to financial strains, or need some extra time, I have had success drilling a hole thru the broken piece and screwing it back into the broken end of the post with a sheet metal screw.

Long term of course you would have to buy new.

They make a tool to pull the clap off the post. I use those because I know a guy that broke a post off the got Batt. acid on his face. Luckly not perm. damage.
