Greetings.

My '95 ATX has been losing it's life-blood in the form of a pancake sized red puddle on the driveway after sitting overnight.

I searched the archives and agree that it's probably either a coolant line, or converter seal <cringe>. The drips are coming from the area between the trans and engine pans. I've ruled out the trans pan.

If it is a trans line, where would I see this? Can you see the lines from underneath the car (it's currently on a lift)? From under the car, I couldn't see any lines - except in the front where the cooler is.

Those are the only lines there are...If it leaks between the bellhousing and the engine it could be a front seal...

It's the trans cooler lines.... I've had to replace mine as well.... If you have a shop do it, it's about 300 big ones.. Or it's not that bad to change yourself! And while your at it, might as well change your filter and fuild too. Well it wouldn't leak with the car off. turn the car on and see where it's leaking at
