Well after considering purchasing a green 92 over next to me in Odessa that needed some pretty major work done to it to even make it driveable, I got in touch with an old friend and figured my money would be best spent on a sho that I was more familiar with......Martin's old silver 92. Laurence and I talked on IM this morning and I will be sending him a certified check next week and getting a beautiful silver 92 to add to the sho stable, and keep in the LSSHOC family! Great TIMING! thumb cheers

it really is a damn good car. I wish I could have it back, but I'm thinking I didn't have the money to throw to Laurence, not to mention a place to put it, as I still have 2 SHO's here.
Yeah, my parents would **** me.
Some pics of her back in the day.

Can't wait to bring her home! This SHO actually is a short term solution for my brother (who has caught the sho bug) to have a car to drive and for me to buy from him in the long run to allow me to work on mine pretty seriously.

Martin, is there anything that needs done on that sho? Laurence said that he didn't know what had been done and what hadn't...

If your gonna have someone learn how to drive a manual on it, there's a chance it's gonna eat up the rest of the life on the clutch.
I haven't seen the car for well over 3K miles, and I know he's done some things to it.
Just had plugs, wires done, no valves needed adjustment at 92K miles. Fuel pump/CPS/Waterpump/thermostat were all done with in the last 2 years.
It's a strong car, runs well, shifter is loose as **** and I've got a bushing kit to fix it around here somewhere..
can't think of anything else. it's still got the aluminum sfb and SHOnut motor mounts front and rear

Yea, Laurence was trying to remember the bushing set for that but couldn't remember exactly what it was. Do I need to drop the shifter boot out to fix this problem? I wanna get it ready for the run too. Have my brother drive it. He has driven MTXs for a while now, so when the clutch goes, I will probably just upgrade to a stage II with a lighter flywheel anyways. thumb

hehe, beat him to it. you do have to drop the entire shifter out of the car, i think 4 min. is my record. i guess you could do it with it in the car, but it wouldn't be easy. i pulled it out of the gray ghost once, that was when we zip tied the shifter after the hood found the tool cabinet (ask the man himself about that one wink .) the kit basically replaces the crappy rubber bushing that goes bad with a billet alluminum piece, all the hardware is included with instructions (who in their right mind would need instructions??) so its a pretty complete kit.
