alternator question swap 94 gl to sho

ok i was pondering that idea in my head with shonut and i think it a good idea more output and more durable


if i get myself a alternator bracket and the compressor bracket and a 3.0 sho alternator from a 94 donor car and buy myself the 2g 3g harness for the alt

i could technically just switch the external casing from the sho onto the gl

cuzz i have a 1994 gl 3.8 150 amp alternator and my 90 alternator is again making noise and die ing on me

so would this be feasable


since a g3 is the same on the interior the only difference his the external part (casing )
and hold point
so technically i could get a sho casing and fit the bracket side only onto my gl alternator
