This question is more directed to those who have parted out a car. I am looking to remove my passenger air bag in a 95. I know how to get to the screws but was wondering how dangerous this is? I know the manual says this should be only done by a professional but most want so much to even look at the thing. Thanks all.

Disconnect the battery and as long as you don't go crazy hitting it and what not, you will be fine. I had to replace BOTH airbags in mine (that is why I have a second SHO in the backyard as a donor :D ), and I didn't run into any problems.
