Seems nice, low mile, great dry section of the country but rear slicers on wrong sides, dealbreaker lol

Maybe the owner likes driving with the shift **** in that position? It look like it there is a gap so the **** can be twisted further down. I wonder if the blend door actuator issue is just the module under the dash (easy fix) that went bad, and not the actual BDA.

The most common problem is the actuator itself, where one of the contacts goes bad, and the door sits there and clicks. Yep, it's the PITA replacement! Fortunately, I had a used car warranty when the one in my former 95 went bad.

Part of the reason that I like the manual HVAC controls!

Yeah it's almost always the actual blend door actuator, my 90 has the same problem. Previous owner hooked up a choke cable so it's basically manual climate controls

I won the auction on this car...drove it down from utah to my home in Dallas. Owner was a little optimistic in the description (or maybe I just have really high standards)....initially my thought was I would put a little $$ in to clean it up and then flip it (similar cars have sold for nearly 8k on BaT). Alas, I really have bonded with the car and have already spent an irrational amount of $$ saving it, so I intend on enjoying it for a while...here is what I've done so far just in the past 9 days of ownership! Essentially my goal is to restore to as close to new as possible.

-New struts/springs/swaybar links all around

-New mufflers

-fixed broken ebrake

-fuel release door mechanism replaced

-New center console insert/NOS ashtray and cigarette lighter

-New blend door actuator

-Door panel clips on all four doors replaced

-OEM headunit reinstalled

Coming this week....

-Having bolsters on drivers seat reupholstered

-Full 3 stage paint correction

-Interior deep clean
