Hello, I just purchased a 94 SHO and replaced all strut assemblies, brake pads, calipers, rotors and tires. I went to have it alinged and they told me no!!! They told me my frame was cracked and needed a frame shop to repair it before they could align it. So that is one of my problems ; also my gear shifter will not release (ATX) when I try to put it in gear. Please advise as I plan on full restoration of this car. Thanks in advance for much needed help.

first thing, disconnect your cruise control module. Big grey plug under your intake tube on the driver's side of the engine compartment. Then pull the cover off the underhood fuse box and replace whatever fuse is blown.

I wish I knew this stuff along time ago. I parked my car, 10 minutes later whent to start it and it was locked in park, it was the darn CC. the eaist thing to do is:

key on to acc -> move shifter to neutral -> start

Ok guys, I unpluged my cruise control and opened fuse box under hood. I found that the 40 amp fuse box fuse was blown. I put in a new fuse and it blew within 2 seconds. I do not know what it is. I have not installed anything or put in any screws into car. All I did is my brakes. I am at a loss and very upset that it is going wrong. Please help!!!!!

The fuse is doing exactly what it was designed to do. There are more that 40 amps going through that circuit and the fuse is keeping the rest of the circuit from frying. So you need to find out what systems that fuse protects and bust out the wiring diagrams to find the problem. A multi-meter and basic electrical knowledge are needed. Are you in the Flat Rock in the U.P., or the one right by Monroe?

I am in flat rock near monroe. The fuse box cover says that the 40 amp fuse that is blowing controls the whole inside fuse box. If I could get it into neutral, I would put it in the garage and go from there. I do have a fluke meter and do have plenty of 12 volt experience. I work for a local RV dealership and have for years. Just thought maybe someone out there would have an idea since I havent installed anything. I will go thru it and find it I hope. I thank you for the advice. I appreciate all I can get. Thannk you all... Keep on sending advice, I need it as I am neww to SHO's, but will restore this to new in time. I plan on full restoration...

The PCM shorted out. Put in a new one and it stoped blowing fuse and shifter started working. Checked out electrical system and all is ok. (Got me on what it did, but it is working now.)
