Wondering what kind of sources there are out there for gen 2 caliper brackets (if you dont want to spring for the upgrade)..

Will any other vehicles brackets match my OEM '94 SHO's?

for oem i'm looking for FN04 cast on the bracket right?

reason being cause one of the pins were ceased on my front drivers side real good an broke while trying to get free.. drilling it out is not an option so now i'm kinda delayed at my relatives place in CT and will be hitting the junkyard tomorrow to start scouring.

i remember hearing of people doing the 96+ brake upgrade with brackets only (no new rotors) which i was considering since i need a new bracket anyways and the gen3 may be an easier find but is this really recommended under any conditions other than boulivard pimping around the neighbourhood?

i'd imagine the rotors would warp pretty quick cause that heap of metal above the pad is not there (10.5 to 11.6 inches right?) to dissipate heat properly.
