Looks good. Too bad that 89s weren't available with that black interior! One point is that it has to be 3 owners, as I doubt that it sat, unsold, at a dealer until 12/19/1995.

According to the Autocheck on my 91+, it was first titled in 1994 with only 333 miles on it. I'm the 3rd owner.

Still looks suspicious. I don't think much of Autocheck anyway. I still say 3 owners. Wonder what Carfax or R. L. Polk says.

YEs. there are additional pics further down in the listing ad. Is it me or does the back seam look extra funky?

Not for $6000. Mileage doesn’t have to equal dirty. No excuse to have a dirty bay in your for sale ad, unless it’s a $500 junker.
I totally agree, if you are posting an ad the least you can do is detail the car.
Also I love the full leather interior of Gen 1’s far more than 50/50 cloth leather. Gen 2 50/50 interiors much better IMO.

The only issue with the Gen 1 full leather is that it didn't hold up. The cloth wears like iron, though. There is naugahide (sp?) that looks just like the Gen 1 perf leather.

That is an amazing price, glad to see values increasing. Makes me wish I had put the MB 3.4 95 MTX or the perfect black interior red 92 on eBay or BAT. At the same time it also makes me feel like my 48k mile SCd 94 with SHOnut HD gears was a deal.

And yes, while some in the SHO community are tight with the $$$’s (just like any car community), I’m seeing a resurgence of people willing to spend $$$’s and doing some great things with these cars. Makes me super excited for the 2022 SHO Convention! (Any announcements planned on that in the near future Mr President?)

I would have bid for the MB 3.4 car, I was trying to buy it when it was still in Houston

I could have gotten it for a song when Jim was selling it in Houston. But, he was in CA, I was working in out of state, and the 10k 89 was in the garage.

Tim, we're close. As soon as we nail down the hotel details in Nashville we're ready. NCM with 10/10ths Motorsports on Sunday 7/17, then through Thursday 7/21.

FWIW, a few of us have already signed up for the Sunday Track Day.
