'90 and '91 service manuals

Are there any major mechanical differences between the '90s and the '91s? There's this guy who has several shop manuals on ebay, and I keep getting outbid on the '90 service manual. The seller does have a '91 service manual, though; I was going to bid on it but I wasn't sure if it would be accurate for '90 models.

FYI, he also has service manuals for '92, '93, and '94 model SHOs, if anyone's interested.

There was an interior desisign in 1991, but I'm quite sure all of the electrical and mechanical systems are the same. I had a 1989 SHO and have a Chilton's manual for 1986-1992 Tauruses and haven't bumped into anything that really changed between 1990 and 1991 except the interior design.

Ah. Sweet. Thanks, Scott. Just out of curiosity, what kind of changes did Ford make to the interior between 1990 and 1991?

I might be mistaken about the year of the interior change, but I had a 1989 SHO that had the "angled head" dash board. I though the change was between the 1990 and 1991 model years. Here are a couple of photos of the interior of my car that I took to answer your question. Does it look the same as yours?

Yours looks identical to mine, albeit much cleaner and better kept

Now that I think of it, the interior change was between '89 and '90, but that slipped my mind earlier.
