~~~~~~~SOLD 4/7/12~~~~~~~~~~
Hey guys,
89 S/C SHO
San Diego, CA
I thought I'd post a feeler to sell a supercharged 89 SHO I acquired it a couple of years ago. It has been in storage ever since I acquired it in late 2009. I have realized that I just won't have the means to keep it and I've spent alot of money paying to have it in storage, where it is currently. Not to mention I already have another supercharged - I was crazy to think I'd have room for two, plus my V.. Time to cut my losses on this one.
I don't have the title, only a certificate of lien sale from 09. So let's assume you can't get a title for it, but I'm not sure. It probably has alot of back reg fees since it hasnt been registered for a few years. With that said, we will classify this as a parts car sale. Plan on towing the car.
I wish I could keep it. The body is super straight, but the clearcoat is in terrrible shape. I like it. It is the best sleeper ever in this shape and I wouldnt paint it.
Its an 89 and the car runs. The only day I have driven it, I drove it around the block a few times then it stalled. So I know it drives good, just may need a proper FPR or something, I never got that far though. It has the 1:1 FPR from the SHO Shop kit. I have a SHONut FPR that I will include with the car.
Looks like the car sat outside a long time, thus the dash crack and clearcoat condition. With that said though, its super straight.
Seats are good, black on grey.
Engine is basically a Stage III ShoShop
package - what they called it in 2000 - 3.0L
block/pistons are stock:
Extrude honed intake/exhaust
ShoShop heads/valves and cams reground for street
ShoShop Catback dual exhaust
Vortec 9psi supercharger
Underdrive belts and pulleys
ShoShop linear springs
Quaife non-slip differential
Solid rod shifters
Subframe bolted and welded
Heavy duty motor/transmission mounts
3500 lb Hi-Revs Race Clutch
Front adjustable steel brace
Front/rear Koni struts
Police grille
The reason this is a feeler is because the car is in storage about 30 miles away and I still have to make a trip to check the mileage, take pics, etc so I'd rather only do that if someone is super serious. $3500.
No title, easy cheasy in OK. Cost you about $175 to get it tagged/titled.
If it were not so far from me, I would probably end up with it next week. Been a little crazy with the SHO buying lately.
:snicker:
Isn't that the truth.....
