2016 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale had over 1500 cars BUT not one SHO

I spent all day yesterday at the 2016 Barrett-Jackson Action in Scottsdale, AZ. It is the greatest cars show I have ever been to. With over 1500 vehicles, I saw lots of old classics, 1963 Galaxies, 1967 Cougars, used racecars, more Mustangs than I have ever seen (all years and conversions), 2017 Fort GT, plus hot rods, hot rods, hot rods. My ONLY disappointment was that I did not see any SHO's. I will be back next year!

My only thought is it might be too early for a car from the 90s to show up at these events.
But who knows with these things. Cars are not capturing the imaginations of the youth for the last generation or so.
